Hands down one of the worst experiences of my life was going to this "hospital." My "oncologist" at Northwest Oncology and Hematology gave me Stage 4 chemotherapy and I had Stage 2 cancer, she refused to admit her mistake and I am still paying that $52,000.00 bill. She delayed the next cycle of chemotherapy drug 3 months after I insisted Kalispell Regional "Medical Center" take that charge off my bill. When I took her to the Montana State Medical Board they were hostile and her explanation to them for the 3 month delay of the next chemotherapy in my treatment was that she had transferred me to another oncologist. I HAD THE PAPERWORK, the oncologists notes stating that he was seeing me that day in her absence at her request and I was HER patient. It was in his handwriting and she STILL denied it and blamed it on the "receptionist" not calling me to tell me I'd been transferred to another oncologist. HOW WOULD YOU LIKE Kalispell Retional Medical Center's NW Oncology and Hematology to take care of YOU if you had cancer? IF you can get treatment elsewhere GO THERE! By the way, Montana State Medical Board stood up for the "oncologist" and tried to blame me for not seeking my next round of chemotherapy! TRUE STORY!
My husband recently had a procedure done and had to stay overnight. The staff members who had cared for him were extremely warm and welcoming. Everyone was extremely attentive to my husband and family members. They really made the experience a pleasant one.
Overall it was a pleasant experience.
I've had surgeries, I've been to the e.r. most of the doctors are amazing. Some don't have the best bedside manners. Nurses are always helpful.
These nurse need some training in manners though
I had to wait early in the morning for almost two hours to have my IV changed. Had to listen to the damn thing beep all morning unable to move or sleep because of the noise. Several calls to the nurses with no results
The only good experience I got out of the hospital and the only reason I gave it 2 stars in because of the doctors and surgeons I met with who did an excellent job and have an excellent attitude.
This October, 2017 KRMC received a Grade C on SAFETY from Leapfrog Group a non-profit watchdog.
The facility was clean and well maintained.
This is a fantastic hospital. When I came in to have my procedure done every single staff member was incredibly kind and courteous. The facility is clean and well maintained. For obvious reasons I never want to return again but if I do I know I will be in good hands.
Nurses are rude and condescending, not helpful at all. Average response time for needing a nurse when you use the button on the bed is between 15 minutes and an hour and a half
