A great park with lots of Dusty trails, picnic tables, beautiful views, and quite a few opportunities to see wildlife at the right times of day or evening. Plenty room for picnicking. Great Visitor Center with lots of displays good spot for kids to learn things about nature. Make sure to pay your fee at the gate otherwise they might ticket you at the visitor center. Best way to go is just get a state parks pass for the year you'll save a lot more
This park has great views of Kalispell. Great place for hiking, walking your dog, mountain biking, and even has a bow practice course. Popular local hiking destination.
Trails are maintained, and super clean for the amount of foot traffic that goes there. Best hike for getting in shape and a short 2 mile or so hike that is great for spur of the moment jog.
Visited from out of state with my wife and 6 year old daughter.
The park itself afforded great views of Kalispell, and an abundance of trails to hike on. We did about 2.5 miles bouncing around on various trails without getting lost. The trails were pretty easy to negotiate.
Staff was super friendly - went out of their way to show my daughter around the visitors center. Very nice people.
Awesome and fun. After the activity, my sneakers covered all over with black dust. Still a wonderful place to visit.
Very nice place. I'd recommend it.
