Service was great, food outstanding & prices very reasonable!
When we received our entrees, it was good, but not entirely worth the wait.
Updated 2017: Best miso in the valley! :) I'm glad we moved closer so we can eat here more often.
Took my wife out to dinner on a Friday night and it was really quiet inside. There was only one other table being served at the time. Our server was nice and we quickly ordered our meals.
Updated August 2015: We had some shrimp tempura and the dollar sushi since today is Thursday and it was excellent. I highly recommend the miso soup, the cucumber salad and the gyoza as well!
After being in Kalispell for some 30+ I've dined in this establishment under various owners. GenkI has been around for some 25 years and is well established. Special deals like dollar sushi on Thursdays offer a chance for just about anyone to enjoy some fresh authentic Japanese fare at a most affordable cost. I wholeheartedly recommend everyone interested in Japanese style cuisine to give Genki a try!
We have lunch here often when we come to Kalispell, their lunch specials are very reasonable and it was super delicious! We'll be coming back.
Another gentleman entered the restaurant and was sat. While we were waiting for our food, he was served his, finished it, and left. We asked the server if our dinner was on the way, which she assured us it was on the way.
The service was horrible, only two people running the restaurant, our wait time was at least 1.5 hours. Sushi was ok but not served with ginger because they where "out". Then after eating half my sushi the dude comes out with a dish of ginger. Had to find someone to get our bill and to go boxes.
