I received a medical settlement for my back I could not walk for a while and or hold my new baby boy. The money that I received I put into my house/ most into the kitchen and here is how they treat people. I Remodeled my kitchen and decided to make the mistake of buying cabinets from Teds beds. I paid for them in full and I was told we would have them in about 45 days or so and that was ok because of our time frame. We picked out a light gray color and the wife and I specifically told them that we do not want the gray cabinets that have a blue tinge to them. We checked on the status of our cabinets several times because the due date for them to come came and gone. We were told they were checking on the status of them just to find out they had the wrong color of cabinets (But thank goodness they hadn't ordered them)they lied to us saying they had them coming !!! Urg. A couple weeks pass and still no cabinets. (I have a family of 5 and doing dishes in the bathtub sucked) We finally receive them only to find out they are the blue gray color we didn't want, it wasn't even close to the sample. (We just dealt with it)They installed them.. and we'll all I have to say is "THE REAL WOOD" doors fell off and stripped the wood out on the 3rd day having them on 4 cabinets. We got bigger screws and that helped. BUT WAIT There's more!!!!!! When the doors open they rub on each other and are taking off the paint and ruining them. I have called more than I have fingers and toes and have gone in there several times but nothing has been done. I am so frustrated at my experience that I will let everyone know that they should not go there.
My husband and I just bought a love seat and couch from ted's beds two weeks ago. They price matched a lower price I found online no questions asked! And delivery was $30, awesome guys, brought it inside and unwrapped it and put it where I asked without hesitation! So so happy and love the quality of the set we purchased. We will definitely be back for other furniture down the road!
I needed a cheap bed and they sold me one and helped me load it. Really nothing to complain about. If you want a real nice bed, I probably wouldn't come here. But if you're on a budget this is not a bad place to shop.
As a customer that bought a bedroom set and an extra dresser I had to wait a month for all my belongings to come in, Ted stated my belongings would arrive in 6 to 10 days not a month. We understand mail don't run on sunday, but it sure does mon-sat. Then when my products arrived one of the guys gets out of the truck flipping my neighbors off. We had also found out that not all the things arrived, that extra dresser I had bought was "forgotten" about in the order, so I had to wait another two weeks for my belongings. We called ted and he stated he forgot to order the extra dresser. We had paid them to deliver our products, come to find do out I was not a priority. They could not do a simple job of delivering products that a customer had bought with out a hastle. We are also getting a hastle over this extra dresser, yet it was their mistake. We are paying for their mistake.. we are not happy at all with their customer service. I don't advise anyone to go through teds beds for anything. Had things not been such a hastle and honest then I would have been a much happier consumer. Ted whom wasn't here for the first delivery professed that his employee gave a thumbs up, well the middle finger is not a thumb. The guy flipped my neighbor off right in front of me. Calling your customers liers isn't ok. Not only did I get lousy Custer service, this company that I only bought from one time is calling me a lier. I do not recommend this company to anyone. I have bought furniture through Aarons and they delivered, they didn't give poor customer service and didn't try to justify wrong doings on their part. I spent well over a grand with teds beds and to be treated like this is upseting. Being in business for 15 years don't mean you give good customer service to everyone always. I don't care how long one had been in business for, that don't matter. I just think instead of trying to blame the mail people and I for their mistake, they need to point the blame at themselves and stop justifying what happend. Some may have a good experience, but there will be those that don't. Just because some give a good rating don't mean a thing. This is how me and my family were treated and I am not impressed at all.
