In my 3rd semester here and absolutely love it!
This is, on the contrary to what one person said, a great college. The classes are vast and very diverse, with many classes being in a very friendly, comfortable environment. The staff is a great staff, where many of the teachers, whom besides many having Master's Degrees and/or PhD's have also recieved awards of Recognition for many, diverse reasons, are very friendly, with a few exceptions. However, realistically, for a college where being a full-time student earning 17 credits while, including fees, only costing you $2,063.40/semester (~$2500, including all 5 books as well), as opposed to, say MSU Billings, or Gonzaga, or if you want a 10 Star education, Yale, which on average cost $10709, $20710, and $54000 respectively (not including books), who I may say also have some teachers who are neither friendly, nor great, it is wonderful to learn at. These are by the way only per semester. Not only does FVCC offer great staff, delicious food (they have a multiple entree restaurant service set-up; a meal costs on average 7$ for a 32 oz soda and a large plate of food), a variety of classes, many activities, a great theatre production, fantastic up-to-date software, and so much more, this college offers a great education and a life time of memories, equal if not greater to that of a greater college, for a fraction of the cost. FVCC may not be perfect, but nothing is. And FVCC is a lot closer than many others. If you want a great, quality education while you plan for your future, visit FVCC.
