Wouldn't recommend to anyone who is in pain and needs help!! I tried to make an appointment here and had the worst experience EVER, received the complete run around... all while in extreme pain and just wanting to see someone to help figure it out. Here it goes: I received a referral from the ER, called Kalispell Gastro to set up an appointment, was advised they would not even make me an appointment until they had my records from the ER and that I needed to call KRMC records and have them sent over (issue #1) and once they receive them they will call me to set up an appointment. So I call KRMC records and try to get them sent over, they say that I have to come in and sign a release. I go to the records dept to sign release and lady there says, oh Kalispell Gastro is part of KRMC, they could have just requested the records (issue #2). I wait 2 days for a call from Kalispell Gastro to set up the appt but no call (issue #3). So I call Kalispell Gastro again saying that records have been sent 2 days ago and can I please set up an appointment. They then advise oh, we need a referral from your primary doctor, which I responded that I had received a referral from the ER. I was advised that was not acceptable and that I needed one from my primary and once they have received that then they will call me to set up the consultation (issue #4). I then call my primary doctor and explain what is going on and ask for them to send a referral, they send it over same day. Waited one day for a call back from Kalispell Gastro and to no ones surprise, I didn't receive a call to schedule the appointment (issue #5). I decided to try a different Gastro doctor here in the valley because clearly Kalispell Gastro cannot be inconvenienced with people who are in pain and need their help. Here I am today, THREE AND A HALF WEEKS LATER and I get the call from Kalispell Gastro to set up an appointment. Yeah, no thank you Kalispell Gastro.
I had always dreaded this test. Yesterday I had my Colonoscopy and I have to say I never felt a thing and the staff along with Dr. Tice did a wonderful job. Very caring people.
