Literally the worst service I've ever received at a vet. I went in to see about a few treatments and also needed help with my microchip and ended up leaving very upset. At the moment I walked through the door, I was marginally greeted by a worn out monotone woman at the front desk that was clearly annoyed by my mere existence. Instead of helping me with my inquiries, she abruptly interrupted me regarding my first inquiry and told me she couldn't help me. She proceeded to speak to me as if I were an idiot and at that point I decided to just leave and stop wasting my time with an establishment that can't even treat me with respect. If this is how they treat their human clients, I don't want to find out how they treat our pets behind closed doors. Not impressed.
I have been taking my 2 doggos and cat to Flathead Animal Clinic for several years. I have received nothing but fabulous customer service and care from each and every individual at the clinic. The front office staff and technicians are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They always answer my questions/concerns above and beyond whether it be a recommendation for treats, food, or dental wipes. Dr. Rankin is extremely knowledgeable with any problems presenting my animals and genuinely cares about their well-being. I would highly recommend this clinic.
There was a temporary vet there. Terrible bedside manners. Told me at least 3 times my dogs were fat. She is very condescending. Looks like she eats at the buffet table quite often herself. Gave me an estimate of $260.00. Total cost was $365.00. No explanation of the extra cost. I have been to the vet many times for problems with my dogs health and this vet is the first vet who couldn't tell me what caused the dogs wounds. Terrible experience. I will not be back!!
Super friendly staff! My dog absolutely hates getting her nails trimmed. They do an awesome job of getting it done quick and easy.
To the person who wrote the review about "microchip and other issues":
Writing a review is your right, you can even write derogatory personal attacks about me, when I was only doing my job. If I came off as disinterested or annoyed, for that I'm sorry. But whether you understand or appreciate it or not, I was acting in the dog's best interest, and yours, IF you are the owner.
When you walked in, I greeted you and the cute little dog in your arms. You stated you had lost the number for the dog's microchip and asked if I would scan the dog and give you the number so you could then go on the website and update your information. I asked if you had been here before and you said no. I then asked if you had records from your previous vet and you got upset at that point and stated the Vet was in Texas. I then informed you I could not give you the chip ID number without proof the dog belonged to you. I stated, "Anyone with that information could go on the website and change the owner's name and information. If someone stole this dog" and you interrupted and insisted the dog belonged to you. I suggested I could call your Vet in Texas to get records to which you stated you didn't wish to come here anyway and left.
