If I could give less than 1 star I would. They will not run a charge for a car for up to 15 business days, which is absolutely ridiculous. Every other Hertz runs the charge and I have the statement within minutes of dropping off the vehicle. When I call, I am told it is the banks fault, then that it is due to their high volume of car rentals. I won't be contributing to that issue any more, as this was the last time I will use Hertz in Kalsipell.
WARNING!!! DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!!! Dirty car and no points and they charged the wrong card! We needed a car for a wedding trip. When we rented they were super nice, but they didn't tell us we would not get our points. We wanted to pay for the car and they wanted a credit card....okay, no problem. We asked if it was like a hotel, just to hold with no charges. The answer was yes. The next morning we were charged, plus another 300.00!! When we called they stated that they will refund us and charge another card. That was not okay. We agreed to terms and they didn't hold up their end. I used this location once for work and was treated poorly too. That time, I just thought it was my imagination from a long trip. I don't think so now. When you call Hertz, they cannot help you because this is a franchise location and not one of theirs!!DON'T USE THIS LOCATION!!
Rent from here pretty frequently. Easy pick up and return. Nice cars
The manager of this location is pretty amazing. I booked a car with Dollar but their shuttle left my daughter and I at the airport and it was after midnight. The manager heard of our situation and came out and volunteered to take us to our hotel. This was after he and a security officer tried repeatedly calling Dollar...no answer from them. I am so grateful to him, not a good way to start off a vacation but thanks to him, we got to the hotel safely and was able to get a good nights rest for our adventure. :)
Came from sc to Kalispell and used Hertz, even though we tried to explain to the desk help we would be going to campsites and requested a four wheel drive, they wouldn't provide the vehicle we needed for our once a year vacation despite having ample inventory in the lot that would have met our requirements. If there was a zero star rating, I'd given them a 0 for customer service.
