You will not have to worry about my missing any future appointments.
I will not be scheduling any.
I do not know why I missed this appointment.
Made the mistake of going for a flu shot. Had to make an appointment, drove 12 miles and got there a bit early. Waited 45 minutes for a 5 second shot. Just when I was telling the front desk I was leaving 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time the nurse came (Thin gal with glasses and dark curly hair) out for me. I said to her she must be very busy since I waited 45 minutes. All she said was "well, you were here a little early" gave me the shot said okay and left, leaving the door wide open when I had my pants open tucking in my shirt. Guess it's my fault for being on time respecting the staffs time and okay for her to be late. Next time the local pharmacy!
Important note to Family Health Care:
Takes an extremely long time to get test results. I am always told 2 to 3 bus days but gave more than that, ended up waiting weeks with numerous calls to get results. Tried to get off medication that was causing dark and depressing thoughts along with multiple other side effects and was told to go to ER and that was their policy. Begged to have Dr. Call me back as I was almost out of my $300 medication and wanted off. 4 calls and 3 weeks later had to go through a very rough time getting off the meds cold turkey. no urgency when it comes to nurse and office. Does not seem to be a sense of caring. Had better experiences before krmc purchased have the valley. No I do not want to call your patient relations department. I shouldn't have to complain to get quality care.
Over those years, I've had three different doctors and all of them were extremely helpful and understanding concerning my health situations.
I am very diligent about making or rescheduling my appointments because, at my age, both I and my medical insurance provider need to know my state of health and I also need to have my medications reviewed and adjusted if needed.
I usually mark down my general medical care, dental, optometrists and cardiac appointments on a calendar on the wall in my kitchen.
Dr. Ochenrider is amazing! This was my first visit here, and I've never had a better family doc. Super interested and a great listener. He understood how expensive health care is, and offered cheaper alternatives. He addressed all of my concerns so well! He wanted to follow up with me over the phone in a month. I've never had a Dr offer to do that.
The facilities were a little old and outdated, but I don't mind. Dr Ochenrider was awesome, and I'd totally recommend him.
Fifteen or so if my memory serves me right .
I have been going to Family Health Care for many years.
Family Health Care has usually called me the day before to verify appointments.
On this one, I did not receive a call.
I've never had any significant problems with this clinic until a month or so ago when I missed an appointment.
I will honestly admit that I somehow did not mark down this appointment.
Dr. Ochenrider is the best doctor we have ever had! My husband and I choose to use him as our primary care doctor. He has the best bedside manner and takes the time that is needed to answer any questions you may have. LOVE the entire staff at this clinic!
I see Dr Gill and normally get in quick and the doc is great, 110% happy!
Two weeks ago I received what I consider a very inappropriate and rude letter in the regular mail stating that if I missed another appointment I would be banned from their clinic !
